Mashable’s “9 Amy Poehler Quotes to Remind You What’s Important”

I know a lot of people who read the newspaper everyday.  MULTIPLE newspapers!  Every.  Day!  Not me.  I LOVE media.  I am the target audience, the perfect American consumer.  But I just don’t read the newspaper, or really even news outlet sites.  I prefer blogs and sites like Mashable, BuzzFeed and Reality Tea (totally counts, right?!).  Also, the Washingtonian does wedding posts, so a must read really.

Anywho, Mashable’s Molly Horan posted a delightful piece earlier this month called “9 Amy Poehler Quotes to Remind You What’s Important” and I LOVES it.  I simply adore Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Unstoppable and brilliant.  When I grow up, I want to be their third wheel…

I just had to share a few of my favorites from Mashable’s piece here.  Though, I do question the first a bit (I should really try to live it a bit more I suppose) and while I’m at it, stop living the last one so firmly (I really do think I’m always right #characterflaw)!

Did I ever tell you I saw her on the street one night. Literally just minutes after Will Ferrell walked by. (In my version they had just had dinner together but left at separate times.) They walked past the restaurant where we were sitting at the corner window having dinner. She and her friends then hung out across the street smoking and chatting. I wanted to cross the street to hang out with them, but instead just keeping looking out the window (not in a crazy stalker lady way though).
