Alternately titled, “F$#% what you heard, it’s what you hearing,” because I was listening to DMX in the new Highlander on the way into work this morning.  But that has about as much to do with today’s post as “Enter Title Here” so…anyway…

It’s FRIDAY!  Thank heavens for short work weeks!  Though I fear the harsh reality of things fully being back in swing next week.  A five-day work week!  ::GASP::  This weekend we don’t have too many plans – getting the tow hitch (cause we’re cool like that) installed on the Highlander, dinner at MIL B’s (Who, I should add, told us about cataracts surgery she was having at midnight, via text message, the day before she was having it.  The text included that a friend from church was taking her.  I’m sure we should have been grateful that we didn’t have to do it, but we were disappointed.  Of course, I’m thinking, what must her friend think of her children!?), dinner with H’s little cousin/little sister/family friend, and a walk Sunday morning downtown with my AU girls.  Oh and we should really clean through our house.  It looks like the laundry and our suitcases are in the midst of a 100 year war in our living room.  It’s getting pretty ugly.

Seeing as it’s Friday, it means, it’s weigh-in day over here.  I didn’t have HIGH hopes for any scale love this morning, and was duely prepared for what I saw.

  • The good news – only 2 pounds since my last WI two weeks ago, one of which was spent on vacay in Vermont.

  • The bad news – 2 pounds up.  Up doesn’t really get me to that baby makin weight I desire.  So downward ho!

Next week, I want to try a fairly aggressive, considering where I am at fitness wise, workout schedule.  I think it’s aggressive because it includes going to Body Pump twice.  And I think once will probably just about kill me.  BUT I want to try something new, and it’s something I think Hubs will be into as well.

  • Monday – Body Pump 6 a.m.
  • Tuesday – Walk 3 miles
  • Wednesday – Body Pump 6 a.m.
  • Thursday - Spin 6 a.m.
  • Friday – Walk 3 miles or Rest
  • Saturday – Walk 3 miles or Rest
  • Sunday – Spin 10:10 a.m.

With Friday and Saturday, basically if I want to sleep in Friday am (after 5:25 wake up calls the rest of the week!), then I need to do my 3 miles on Saturday when I wake up.

I love routine, and I’m hoping that this will give me a chance to check out something new, and also offer variety.  Coupled with a healthy meal plan, I think I’ll be in great shape!
