Approach

It’s getting close to the time of year where many people share their resolutions.  What I like most about THIS time, a few weeks before the new year, is that those of us already “trying” can solidify our plans before the resolution rush hits.  In a way, it allows me to feel superior.  Just go with it.

…exercise. At LEAST 3 times each week, striving (GOAL) for 5.  I’d like to work out Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat and rest on Monday and Friday.

…follow the Weight Watchers Points Plus program CLOSELY.

…Only eat 30 of my Weekly Points Allowance (15 extra Points for Friday and 15 extra for Saturday).

…earn 14 WW Activity Points each week (and not eat them).

…be more fiscally responsible, manage my spending and balance with saving!

I could go on and on and get very detailed, but the gist of the story, MY story, is that I want to be healthier, both physically and financially!  These are things that I know can be accomplished, have been accomplished before.  I really, truly want to run the Marine Corps Marathon in 2012, and have to start making healthy choices now for that to be a reality in October.  And also, I REALLY, REALLY want to have a mini-Gpie.  And I know that I need to be in a better position health wise and money wise for that to move forward!

  1. I dig it. Why wait.. just start now. I think I’ll consider this motto. Good luck with your resolutions!

    I like your attitude lady!

Hubs and I are going to start training for the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler (lordy) and I can barely make 1.5 miles right now. That should be fun!

Also, when can we have coffee/a play date? Perhaps after the holidays?

    • I love it! I just signed up for the GW Pkway 10 – new to me race! We can do it! Let’s DEF get together after the holidays. January is pretty open for me! xo
