And Hello Week!
I missed my Weekly Workout Roundup – this week AND last actually, but I’ll just play catchup for one week:
Sunday 4/25 -4 miles (no watch, about 50-55 mins) run/walk (ran 3, walk 1), 80 arm diamonds
Monday 4/26 – No Felicia…
Tuesday 4/27 – 4 mile walk with H
Wednesday 4/28 – 3.6ish mile walk with Jess
Thursday 4/29 – Xsport: 33 mins AMT elliptical, 12 mins regular elliptical, 5 mins stairmaster, 150 crunches, 40 leg extensions, 80 arm diamonds
Friday 4/30 – 4.15 mile walk with H, Chuck and Kristen
Overall – not a bad week. As you can see, lots of social walking, totalling nearly 12 miles! Of course, there is a BUT. BUT, walking isn’t AS cardio intensive as running or going to the gym, but really, I can’t feel bad about this past week!
I’m off to a GREAT start this week!
5.4 miles in 1:14! I ran about 4.1 and walked about 1.25. Pretty pleased! And holy hello hot! The heat came in! I ran at 9am and it was already in the high 80s!
Heart pink gear! And check out my new camera! I really need to learn more about it!
Also this week – I tried the Green Monster. Verdict – FANTASTIC! Like everyone says, you cannot taste the spinach! I had three this week and bought two big bags of spinach for this week! Sneaky way to get in some extra greens.
Seriously – all that spinach! In a delish monster it makes!
Also in my monster – 1 smallish banana, fresh strawberries (more flavorful than frozen I found), 1 tsp of raspberry preserves (for a little added yum!) and ice. I added a tablespoon of my Muscle Milk Light protein powder to my first Monster, but suspected it was the one ingredient that wasn’t working. I was right, and will continue to leave it out!
MORE than fills a protein shake bottle, and it’s filling too! Call me a convert
I’ve got a BUSY week ahead, with some more walk dates, an ambitious gym schedule, babysitting twice, a birthday cookout on Saturday AND the Pacer’s Quarter Marathon on Sunday! EKKK! Hope these Green Monsters continue to fuel me to power through the week!

Your legs be lookin’ good!!
Thanks lady!
Wow, you really can’t taste the spinach? I will have to give a try. I’m scared, though!
Great job with the run!!!
Seriously – you can’t taste it! I was scared too! But I wouldn’t send you down a bad path
I have decided that it tastes better with ripe fruit though, clearly I love the sweet factor
Yum! For some reason I always thought I’d need a vitamix to make a green monster. I am so excited! I see milk there, did you use milk too? I am new to the blog…you inspire me!
Thanks Karen!
YES! I used 1 cup skim milk – forgot to add that in and make sure you add some kind of liquid. Alot of bloggers use Almond milk and the like, but I went for just straight up skim milk.
