Snowmagedden 2010

Last time I checked, I haven’t lived in Vermont for about ten years.  So what’s the deal with all the snow?

The great thing about being a Vermont transplant in the near-South is I am not phased by the amount of snow.  While I didn’t like living in it for months at a time, a couple of storms are lovely.

20-some inches of lovely this weekend!  I only hope that it’s so much snow that the government closes on Monday!  That’s when a storm is REALLY fun!

I ventured out for an unsuccessful Starbucks run this morning, but it was beautiful.  I love how quiet it was!  And the images of downtown on TV were GORGEOUS.  Tomorrow I am hoping to make it to the gym, even if it means a little walk through the snow.  Then it’s time to clean and hope that H is able to find a flight home – provided the airports reopen!

In the meantime, it’s just me, some Trader Joe’s gnocchi, my pile of wedding magazines (finally making a dent!), and more DVDs.
